  Louisiana Economic Development - Louisiana Economic Development is responsible for strengthening the state's business environment and creating a more vibrant Louisiana economy.
  Louisiana Small Business Development Center - The Louisiana Small Business Development Center (LSBDC) provides low- or no-cost guidance and training for small business owners and potential owners. Part of a statewide network supported by the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA), Louisiana Economic Development and the host universities; the LSBDC serves Louisiana businesses through confidential counseling, group training, and business information resources.
  Official Guide to Doing Business in Louisiana - The online version of the Business Report's Official Guide to Doing Business in Louisiana. It includes information about incentives and financing, permits and licenses, laws and taxes, and business assistance. 
  SCORE - SCORE is comprised of volunteer executives, employed and retired, who are interested in helping small businesses succeed. SCORE volunteers assist entrepreneurs by helping with business plan development, developing marketing strategies, formulating a financial plan, obtaining financing, pricing goods and services, and much more.
  Seedco - Seedco Financial Services, Inc. (Seedco Financial) is a national not-for-profit organization that seeks to stimulate economic development in communities that are underserved by traditional banking institutions by providing affordable capital, hands-on business assistance, and innovative solutions to small businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and real estate developers.
  The Urban Conservancy - The Urban Conservancy is a New Orleans-based nonprofit that advocates for New Orleans-area small businesses through programs such as their Stay Local initiative.
